有外媒报道称，当地时间本周一（5月25日），中远海运旗下一艘船名为COSCO SAO PAULO的集装箱船在南非海域突发事故！

事发当时COSCO SAO PAULO正从南非德班港开往下个港口开普敦港，据悉，5月25日早上，该集装箱船一处货舱疑似起火，并被要求在在开普敦外海锚地抛锚，期间COSCO SAO PAULO轮遭遇恶劣天气，船体发生剧烈晃动，外媒报道事故中有可能造成集装箱坠海丢失！

相关资料显示，本次发生事故的COSCO SAO PAULO轮，目前服务于中远海运知名的南非航线ZAX2，挂靠港口包括厦门，香港，深圳蛇口，广州南沙和台湾高雄等多个国内港口。

另外，鉴于该集装箱船同时也挂靠最大的中转港新加坡港，不排除国内其他港口经由新加坡中转南非的货物有配载此船的可能。

从相关船期资料显示，除了中远海运之外，在发生事故的 COSCO SAO PAULO轮上共舱的船公司众多，其中至少可能包含赫伯罗特，长荣，东方海外，太平船务和以星轮船。

具体涉及共舱的船公司可能包含：

We have learned of an incident involving the vessel “COSCO SAO PAULO”, a 2013 built 40,465gt Fully Cellular Containership which was towed into Table Bay today.

It is understood that the Vessel has a capacity of 4,253 TEU and was carrying containers between South Africa and China & Hong Kong when she reportedly suffered afire25th May 2020. It is also reported that the Vessel suffered propulsion issues resulting inloss of containersoverboard.
